Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan is a charitable trust registered in 1988, by few motivated doctors who came together to bring a social change through healthcare. They started Dr. Hedgewar Hospital at Aurangabad in 1989 and since then it is running many social activities apart from excellent patient care through several network of hospitals, mobile clinic and Ram Health Centers & Blood Bank.

Dattaji Bhale Blood Bank is run by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan. It was formed in 1993 with an objective to provide “SAFE BLOOD” to needy people with Social Perspective. After a modest start, it has been able to provide blood to more than 50,000 patients on a Non-Profit basis. This Blood Bank is known for providing high quality, safe blood with non-profit motive.
